Trade Days with a Difference
One of Tee Shot Golf’s most successful event type to date have undoubtedly been Howdens Trade Days. From our first ever event, at Howdens Barnsley Wombswell, word soon spread, with Depot Manager Jonathan Clegg saying he would ‘100% recommend Tee Shot Golf for an extremely professional well organised and enjoyable golf simulator hire experience’. Meanwhile, Leanne McPartland at Howdens Speke shared her enthusiasm for an ‘Absolutely brilliant interactive experience for our customers (and staff) during our Summer Trade Day!’. Then, there was Antony Child who runs the Tunbridge Wells depot, who spoke of ‘Something different and well received was a golf sim from Tee Shot Golf… highly recommended’.
Happy Staff
We typically find there’s a few keen golfers working at each Howdens depot, who during quieter moments on the day, love the chance to take on their favourite course or hole. We’ve even run a few ‘Beat the Boss’ competitions, which always make for a lot of fun! What’s more, it’s an experience that highly inclusive, with clubs available for both men and women, and games that mean even those who’ve never played golf can have a go.

Since that first booking, we’ve visited numerous depots around the country, from Bristol to Borehamwood, Stockport to Speke and Litchfield to Leeds! Without fail, it’s been fantastic to witness the joy and laughter of Howdens’ customers, as they compete for the top spot on our ‘Top Gear’ style leaderboard, and scooping prizes for hitting the shot that’s ‘nearest the pin’.
