Frequently asked questions

Every customer has unique requirements and costs will vary on a case by case basis. Rest assured, we will always do our best to work with you to design and deliver an unforgettable event within your budget, therefore never let budget be a reason to not get in touch with us. That said, let’s try and at least provide you with a rough idea using the following scenario -
Parking and straightforward site access
4/5 hours daytime use of the golf simulator and putting mat
Standard Tee Shot Golf branding (No custom branding)
Total guide cost for this scenario would be £1000+VAT (£1200). Your event costs may be higher or lower, but we hope this provides you with a point of reference. Hoping for more than 4/5 hours of simulator use? No problem at all. We will discuss this and confirm options after you have submitted your booking enquiry.

A flat, clean and dry floor space that is at least 5 metres deep (16.4ft), 4 metres wide (13.1ft), 3.2 metres high (10.5ft) with access to mains power within 30m (100ft).
Any bookings wishing to use our optional putting mat will require an additional floor space of 3 metres (10ft) by 1.5 meters (6.5ft).
Don’t yet have an event space? If required, Tee Shot Golf can assist with finding and booking a suitable location based on your requirements (additional fee will apply).

Unloading, enclosure building, technology testing and setup of all the necessary components typically takes around 3.5 hours, but can vary significantly. Breakdown and loading time is typically 1.5 hours. If necessary, setup/breakdown can be arranged for the day before/after your event.

Yes. For outdoor events the space would ideally be in a fully enclosed tent or weatherproof space.
To be able to use our ‘standard enclosure’ with the projected image outdoors we would need to rely on near perfect weather conditions (no wind or rain), which of course the UK is not well known for(!). It's also worth mentioning that bright sunlight can impact the quality of the image projection, but rest assured, steps are taken to minimise this where possible. So in summary, it is possible to use the 'standard enclosure' outdoors. But it is strongly advisable that a contingency space/covered area is available that meets the minimum space requirements to avoid any potential weather issues at your event.
Alternatively, we can provide a full outdoor set up that can operate in some light wind and rain, but this involves hitting into a netted enclosure that has no projected image, with instead, a 50” TV where the virtual golf is displayed.
Please be aware that if for any reason it is deemed unsuitable or unsafe by Tee Shot Golf staff due to the forecasted or actual weather conditions on or during your event (including during the set up/take down period) then it may not be possible to operate our service. In which case, our outdoor event weather cancellation and refund policy below would apply (this policy only applies for outdoor events that are cancelled specifically due to the weather forecast or actual weather during the event):
Outdoor events cancelled due to the weather forecast more than 24 hours before the event set up time begins = refund of any amount paid, minus 50% of the total invoice amount.
Outdoor events cancelled less than 24 hours before the event set up time begins = no refund.

Yes. However, in order to provide you with the best experience and to keep our pricing competitive, we kindly request that a designated member of your team, venue staff or a guest be available to assist our staff with a simple, safe and fully explained task during the setup and take down of the mobile golf simulator. This will involve approximately 5 minutes of their time before and after your event. Your cooperation here is greatly appreciated and contributes to the seamless execution of our services.
If this is not feasible for any reason, this is no problem. But please be aware that an additional member of Tee Shot Golf staff will be required which will result in an additional cost.
-
There are no limitations so long as the required time for set up (typically 3.5 hours) and take down (typically 1.5 hours) is taken into account.

We have a wide selection of game modes available and will provide you with recommendations based on your vision for your event. Tee Shot Golf use market-leading software, offering the opportunity to play over 1,000 of the world’s top courses.
